The Music

The music of Death By Fetish is directly influenced by the music we listen to.  Black Sabbath, Iggy Pop, Joan Jett, The Ramones, The Who and Motorhead to name a few.  The music is straight forward, with no studio tricks.  What you hear on the recording is what you'll hear on stage.  Two guitars, a bass, drums and the voices of Wendy and Jackie. The lyrics tell the stories of our own lives, and the lives of the people we know.  Songs of rebellion, alienation, anger, triumph and loss.  Often dark, the stories are honest, direct, and occasionally humorous.

The Band

Lead guitarist Mike Emmons is inspired by the mighty riff's of Black Sabbath and the savage proto-punk sounds of Iggy And The Stooges.  Guitarist/Vocalist Wendy Campbell is heavily influenced by the raw rock-n-roll of Joan Jett.  The battle between the two of them is where you'll find the incendiary drums of Wolfgang Emmons and the solid overdriven bass tones of Jackie Drew.  With too many influences to list, they bring it all together in a sound that is uniquely their's.

The Story

Death By Fetish came into existence in the summer of 2014.  Made up of musicians who had played together off and on in various other bands, we came together with a common goal: to write hard hitting songs, turn the volume up to 10 and put 110% of ourselves into every show we do.  There's a place for pretty love ballads and easy listening background music, but that place is somewhere other than our stage.  This band leaves politeness behind, turns the amps up to 10, and makes no apologies for the attitude or the volume.
